Both! I began as an Aged carer and my work has developed to include Disability support for children and adults.
I believe person centred care is actually about meeting the needs of the PERSON first and foremost, whether the need for support stems from disability or age. I just love caring for the person in front of me.

I mostly visit in and around Herne Hill / Manifold Heights / Geelong West / Newtown / South Geelong and East Geelong.
In any case, please let me know your suburb and your preferred days and we can go from there.

100% Yes. I deliver all support myself. This facilitates person centred and relationship centred care which has a plethora of benefits - greater than the sum of their parts.
It also means you can speak directly to me about things like shift changes and what is working and what I could do better, I love being given the chance to get things right.

My full time career began at HammondCare in January 2022. I quickly recognised that I was well suited to Aged care work, which gave me the confidence to step out and offer my own personalised support. So far, I have supported people ranging from ages 4 to 96. Needless to say, I have accommodated many diverse needs, routines and preferences.
Before that, I was regularly supporting friends and community members informally.
I am two subjects away from completing the Diploma of Dementia Care with the Wicking Dementia Centre (University of Tasmania), the national leader in dementia education and research. I’m finding it immeasurably interesting and applicable across my Disability support and Aged care practices.
I love learning, so I will always be enrolled in one course or another to my further my professional development.

Disability support and Aged care is my calling. By investing in Registration, audits and other responsibilities, I am showing I’m 100% serious about what I do.

Not at all. Faith-friendly means there is room for your beliefs, including having no faith.
I keep professional boundaries around my personal beliefs. My aim is to find common ground and provide respectful support without judgement, just as I would hope to receive.
